Jared Roskelley CFP®

President & CEO

In a financial services career spanning more than two decades, Jared has taken a thoughtful approach to financial planning. He enjoys the distinct aspects of each client relationship, and investing time in getting to know each person’s needs, goals and financial mindset to create a customized plan that includes ideas for tax efficiency, risk management and retirement. He strives to live by the practice’s founding principles of integrity, insight and independence each day.

His perspective on financial planning has been featured in publications including Businessweek, Barron’s, The Wall Street Journal, and Forbes.

Jared’s path with the firm began in the early 2000s, when he and advisor Bob Jackson met while preparing for the CFP® certification. Their shared approach to planning and client care led Jared to join the practice in 2006. When Bob retired, Jared continued the vision they built together-one centered on understanding the unique moving parts of each client’s financial life and bringing them together through clear, coordinated planning.

His interest in financial planning started early, influenced by his father, a tax and insurance specialist who was among the first professionals to earn the CFP® designation. Seeing firsthand how guidance can help families make sense of complex financial decisions shaped Jared’s desire to work in the field.

Jared was named an Arizona Board of Regents Scholar in 1994, later earning his Bachelor of Science in Finance, graduating cum laude from Arizona State University in 2001. He completed the Certificate in Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning in 2003 and received his CFP® certification that same year.

As an Arizona native, community involvement is a meaningful part of Jared’s life. He is an Eagle Scout and spent nearly 20 years serving in leadership roles with the Boy Scouts of America, including Scoutmaster, Varsity Coach, and Assistant District Commissioner. He has served on the board of the Financial Planning Association of Greater Phoenix, contributes to A New Leaf as part of its Professional Advisory Council, and participates in the Gift Planning Council for the Philanthropies Department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Jared and his wife, Karlie, live close to the neighborhood where he grew up and enjoy raising their two children, Samuel and Gabriella. Outside of work, he enjoys mountain biking, skiing, camping, and spending time with family.
